We take a lot of walk-ups. Does everything have to be booked ahead?
No. You can still book someone in yourself at the desk, and the waiver can be signed on a phone or tablet there and then. Online booking is where most of the benefit comes from, but it does not have to be the only way in.
How do we stop putting a beginner on the wrong horse?
You set each horse’s suitability and each guest records their experience when they book. Hopoti keeps the two matched, and shows you the day’s assignments before anyone arrives.
Our season is very up and down. Does that work?
Yes. We have a specific business model which adjusts to your seasons, so a quiet February and a full August are just different calendars rather than different systems.
Can guests sign waivers for a whole family or group?
Yes. One person can book for a group, and waivers go out to each rider or their guardian so every form is signed and stored against the right individual.
Do we have to take payment online?
You do not have to as we offer alternative payment methods, but it is where most of the benefit comes from. Centres taking prepaid bookings see no-shows fall and cash flow steady, because the ride is paid for before anyone arrives.
How long does setup take?
Registering takes about five minutes. We make sure you have an excellent onboarding to get your rides, horses and guests in our system in a matter of days rather than weeks.
