Equine Therapy Software FAQ
We run therapy sessions and regular lessons. Do we need separate systems?
No. Hopoti handles a mixed programme in one calendar (therapy sessions, group programmes, assessments and ordinary lessons) all sit together, with the same people and the same payment setup.
Can we store consent and medical information?
Yes. Consent and medical forms are sent when a participant registers and stored against their profile once signed, so the people running a session can see what they need to without paperwork circulating by email.
How do we keep horse workload fair?
You set each horse’s suitability and availability, and Hopoti tracks how many sessions each one has done. Workload stays visible across the whole yard rather than living in someone’s head.
Our participants are not all booking for themselves. Does that work?
Yes. A participant profile can have guardians or carers attached, and they can book, pay and receive confirmations on that person’s behalf.
Our programme is funded by schools or government grants, so participants do not pay directly. Can we still use Hopoti?
Yes. Payments do not need to be collected from participants. You can use Hopoti to manage sessions, participant profiles, horse assignments and communication, while invoicing schools or managing grant-funded places through your existing process.
How long does setup take?
Registering takes about five minutes. We make sure you have an excellent onboarding to get your sessions, horses and participants in our system in a matter of days rather than weeks.
